• Kenny writes... A Mini European Team Meeting was held in Holland on 17th January and attended by Kenny & Sally from the UK Team, Elisabeth & Gerhard from Germany, Roeli & Mark from Holland & Pierre (on Skype) from our Swiss Team. The meeting and time of fellowship was very special and the warmth and support for each other was very evident. "Whenever brothers (and sisters) work together in unity, God commands a blessing". This was the case with these meetings.
Many topics were discussed and everyone was encouraged at all the exciting things The Lord is doing in Europe. There is plenty more to do and the job is huge, but we have a big God and it is Him who directs, provides and meets every need. Thank you to all the teams for attending and we look forward to meeting again next time.

• Kenny & Joan recently spoke at Marlow Christian Fellowship about the work of Language Recordings UK and GRN.
• They have also just returned from a WEC Christian kids camp in Devon, where Kenny & Joan were the missionary speakers. They returned home tired, but so blessed as the kids and leaders were brilliant.
• On 21st August they travelled to Rochester to speak at a local church there.

• 13th July 2011 Packing up over half ton of aid - clothes, shoes, computers - for Kosova, raised by LRUK along with the charity Blythswood care. It will be sent on a lorry arranged by Blythswood and given out to the poor and needy people in Kosova, along with some LRUK materials and CD's. See more pictures on the In Depth page

• May 2011 On May Day weekend, Kenny and Joan presented our exhibition stand with all our Language Recordings resources and materials. This is a yearly event at Gerrads Cross and with the good weather there was a great crowd and plenty of interest and enquires at our stand.

We get to tell loads of people about what we do and speak to other missions about our work and encourage them to use our materials.

Thank you to the WEC people for all their support and we appreciate working together with them.

Thailand GRN Leaders' Conference
 • March 2011 Read the new reports on the Mission page of the recent GRN Leaders' Conference in Thailand and Kenny's subsequent recording trip to Serbia

• On 14th February we sent some Audio Bibles & teaching cassettes, players and bits and pieces to Kenya via a Mission based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. They have a huge container going early next week. We sent 5 full large boxes by postal freight and the container will be loaded this week and sent off next Monday 21st. This has been a very quick and inexpensive way to get resources to these spiritually hungry and needy people...Praise The Lord

• Plans for the next few months...

At the end of March, Global Recordings Networks 4 yearly conference is being held in Thailand and Kenny, Joan and Sally Hogg will attend and join the directors from the other offices around the world. Pray for safe travel, good fellowship and unity. For refreshment and renewed vision and strength.

On returning Kenny and Joan will be travelling to Serbia with Ray to make recordings at a pastors conference. They hope to record with Roma pastors and make good contacts for the distribution and use of our Serbian and Roma recordings.

Mayday Weekend is the WEC Missionary convention where we will have a stand to present our work and materials.

The 2nd week in May we are of to Kosova with a team for short term mission, to work alongside the local church & the many poor families. We will also make more recordings & distribute existing CDs, DVDs & booklets. If you would like to help with this trip…a little goes a long way when you have nothing. We also plan to take another short term team into Kosova in September.

We love to help & bring aid in this work but always our primary aim is to share The Gospel with those we meet everywhere we go.

We will post reports on all these adventures with The Lord when we return home.

• Kenny & Joan are back from Slovakia after making 5 recordings in Slovakian. Read a report with pictures on the Mission page.....
• We have recently given to the Tower Christian Church in London, Cassettes, Flip-Charts & Books and now are sending them a Saber Player with 8 different Sierra Leonean languages for use with the community there.
• Kenny & Joan have returned from a week in Kosova where they gave out more CDs & DVDs in Albanian, flip charts and Saber MP3 players, as well as helping with a truckload of aid.

• August We have just sent out 90kg of goods to 4 countries; cassettes, CDs, cassette players & picture books
• 14th June : Kenny & Joan and their small team have safely returned from Kosova after a week away. They were able to support the work of a small church there and give out many CDs and DVDs in the Albanian language. See the Mission Page for a report and a slideshow.
• May 2010: The LRUK office hosted the Global Recordings Network Finance meetings here in the High Wycombe office. Have a look at some of the photos behind the names on the In Depth page. This time of fellowship was very special. Please pray for these leaders in GRN... many thanks
•April 2010: Noel Bachelor from Australia, who is the GRN recordist and  training coordinator, visited the UK office to update Kenny, our UK & European recordist, on some new prcocedures and software. We really appreciated this time with Noel...
